How to eat healthy during Autumn – The Autumn Menu
With Autumn settling in and the mornings and evenings getting darker it is more important than ever to eat healthy nutritious food. Getting less hours of sun each day means we are less likely to get our recommended allowance of Vitamin D. This can affect our mood and energy levels affecting how we perform day to day. So getting a healthy nutritious balanced diet is the best way to get your daily dose of vitamins and minerals.
Our previous menu ‘Flavours of the Med’ was full of fresh flavours to remind you of summer. Our new menu ‘The Autumn Menu’ is packed with Autumn spices, warming kicks of heat, and as always delivered to your door fresh!
Start your day right with our Pineapple and Pumpkin Seed Bircher Museli. Fresh Pineapple (packed with vitamin C) paired with autumnal pumpkin seeds for a bit of crunch.
Our Cajun Caramelised Salmon is a perfect lunch time dish. Warming Cajun spices are perfectly caramelised on our RSPCA assured Atlantic Salmon to brace you against those windy autumn days.
Fancy a Pumpkin Spiced Latte to give you that mid-afternoon kick? Save on the calories and enjoy your pumpkin spice with our Spiced Pumpkin Power Bars.
We have upped our Steak game this menu! Pairing our Beef Sirloin Steak with Mustard Sauce is a quintessentially British meal for those Autumn evenings.
When the autumn weather gets a bit cold tuck into our warming spiced meals this autumn. Start off with our Red Thai King Prawns for a punch kick of spice wrapped around succulent prawns.
Thursday night? Why don’t you crack out our Fajita Turkey Steak for a Mexican spiced night in with the TV.
One of our favourite additions to the new menu is our Malaysian Chicken Curry, moist chicken breast with a warming Malaysian spiced sauce. Full of chilli, lemongrass, and ginger it’s a perfect spice kick for Autumn.
Switching Things Up
We have made a few changes to our normal menu items on this menu. We have added our Sweet Potato Frittata, Courgette, Spinach & Tomato relish dip to the menu. Full of nutritious veg its an easy quick breakfast when you are on the go.
We have given our Salmon an update for Autumn switching the steam for roast on our Roasted Salmon. Roasting gives our RSPCA farm assured Atlantic Salmon an extra dimension to this customer favourite.
Swede Mash completed the line up of our Low-Carb options. Swede is the British vegetable making its way onto everyone’s Sunday roast in Autumn. We think its great paired with any of our carbs with sauces!
Finally we have revamped our Roast Potatoes making them bite size and easier to eat on the go. We love them in cube form, and we hope you do too!
