Championing wellness: Meet our 8-week challenge winners

Can you believe it can take just 8 weeks to establish a healthy new routine? Well, that’s what studies have shown; and that’s exactly what happened with three of our dedicated customers.

We presented a challenge: commit to 8 weeks of enjoying our nourishing meals. So how did our challenge winners get on? Learn about their experiences and who knows, maybe they can inspire you to discover these benefits for yourself.

Meet Beccy

How long have you been a customer?

I’ve been a Lions Prep customer for 10 weeks now.

What benefits have you experienced?

I started when my baby was 2 months old to help me eat better during a crazy period! It means I get a quick, convenient, healthy meal every day, even on hectic days.

What’s your favourite meal from our menu?

I love the pesto mash and the donburi rice bowl – it feels like a takeaway at home!

Do you eat from the container or a dinner plate?

I usually eat from the container!

The most rewarding part of your journey?

It’s feeling like I’m eating good food again when I can’t prioritise cooking for myself at the moment.

Meet Gaynor

How long have you been a customer?

I’ve been with Lions Prep for 5 weeks, losing 6lb in the first week effortlessly.

What benefits have you experienced from using us?

As a busy self-employed individual, Lions Prep changed the game. No more snacking after work; my balanced meal is ready in 3 minutes. It saved me shopping and cooking time, allowing me to hit the gym regularly.

What’s your favourite meal from our menu?

I love almost all of them. If not in the mood for one, it’s easy to switch. I had a great lamb burger tonight. Prawns are restaurant-quality.

Do you eat from the container or a dinner plate?

I use a plate or bowl, sometimes with a side salad. Meals look and taste great. Containers are good too.

The most rewarding part of your journey?

Finally, I’m in control of eating, achieving nutritional balance, focusing on other things, and steadily heading to a healthy weight. Hoping I hit my 3-stone weight loss goal by Christmas.

Meet Emily

How long have you been a customer?

I’ve been a customer for 1.6 months.

What benefits have you experienced?

I’ve noticed that I’m eating healthier, and taste is equally important to me.

What’s your favourite meal from our menu?

That’s a difficult question. I really like the king prawns, so any dish with them in it is my go-to favourite.

Do you eat from the container or a dinner plate?

I eat from the container every time.

The most rewarding part of your journey?

I’ve experienced the benefit of having more time to spend with my family in the evenings, especially during the summer. It has allowed me to stay down at the beach for a little bit longer!
